A Poet's Lament Poem by kalyan mech

A Poet's Lament

O' poetry
Don't waste the inks of my pen.
This piteous pen awaits for me
Only to draw a metaphoric language.

When i step into a room of thoughts;
Plain thoughts, dark thoughts
And thoughts over thoughts
Pull me in.
This piteous pen awaits for me
Beside the door, just to employ at work.

All thoughts pinch me-

Did my eye sight touch her soul,
Why a mad man laugh so loudly,
When will dark clouds rain on me,
What is lonely, standing admist crowd,
Did i drop a happy tear upon a dry leave,
A burning heart needs how much cold water,
A summary about life by a poor man,
A faith in a wanderer's eyes.

O' poetry
I wish you live beyond time.
I wish my name breath on you.
So O' poetry
Don't waste the ink of my pen.
