A grief ago!
He was the man you'd know
Happy about the world and so
A life ago!
He had the one he loved, though
It was a long time ago
Him having the darkest joy
A gift from her, a boy
Made these endless days of dark
Shiny, but where to park
All the grief left for him
All the joy got from him
Not his friend, his strength
Through the days, full of length
Not to worry for he knew
She was looking down on this view
View of her love and son
Caring, loving, crying one
A man not feeling pain
Done with feeling, living pain
A grief ago!
Yes it was so
Not that he forgot it though
A life ago!
But he fought it though
Through his purest of pain, just let go
Breaking the dimness, the rising and the shining joy
All he had left, just his boy
Enough reason to be bold
Touching love not the cold
The coldest of the pain he had
The highest of the mount he had
Just to see the smiles bloom
Just to see the laughter lighten the room
Turned his sorrow into glee
From his sorrow, he was free
New era to begin
See her beauty and love in him
Blissful he was for this shift
Blissful for her lover's gift

An insightful depiction of renewed hope of one at low ebb of life, induced by the bliss and gift of love, well articulated and nicely penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Javad. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
