A Gypsy Dance Poem by Kieran J1996

A Gypsy Dance

Rating: 4.0

Tonight i dance a gypsy's dance,
up and down i do prance,
I twirl around, in front of the fire,
Jumping, leaping, higher and higher,

When i was lost, they took me in,
I no longer had to live, sheltered beneath a bin,
My parents, you see, they left me there,
They left me alone without a care,

For fifteen years i've lived with them,
The life before forgotten and numb,
Now i'm there, at that age,
When i must visit, the village sage,
