A Happy Thought A Day Poem by Nicola Kelly

A Happy Thought A Day

It takes more muscles to frown,
And one negative thought to bring you down.

Friends and family make you feel smothered,
Truth is you can no longer be bothered.

Pleasure came from the little things,
Now turned to worrying about every little thing.

Reacted when it had to be done,
Even the idea of motivation you shun.

Life is on the up feeling good,
Go with the flow wish you could.

You can cry when your happy or sad,
Chances are its because you feel bad.

If it were as easy reverse psychology,
How happier we would be.

Just a happy thought a day,
Helps that frown go away.

Keep practising and after a while,
All you want to do is smile.
