A Hope For Ukraine And Russia Poem by Natasa To

A Hope For Ukraine And Russia

May the Dawn Bring Peace

Across the fields where sunflowers grow,

Where gentle winds once used to blow,

Where mothers pray and children cry,

And countless dreams beneath clouds lie.

Two nations bound by history,

Two peoples longing to be free,

Yet hearts that beat beneath the pain,

Still dream of peace beyond the rain.

May every soldier find his way,

Back home to greet another day.

May broken homes rise up once more,

And laughter echo through each door.

May rivers flow without the fear,

May distant voices disappear,

May children learn to sing, not fight,

And sleep beneath a peaceful night.

For hope is stronger than the flame,

And love is greater than the blame.

No border drawn, no battle scar,

Can dim the light of who we are.

May Ukraine stand with freedom bright,

May Russia's people know what's right.

May truth and justice lead the way,

And peace replace the price we pay.

And when the sun shines through the gray,

May all the world have words to say:

That peace is not a dream too far,

When hearts choose healing over war.

For every life, for every land,

May peace return, hand in hand.

And may the world one day recall:

There is no victory greater than peace for all. 🌻
