A hope still whispers in my heart
you'll return to me before my day ends
and pull me into your embrace
and fill the void-
lying deep in my heart
since we can never be by soul apart
a hope still whispers in my heart
our love can't die till we truly depart
dear, come to me & do your hands extend
a hope still whispers in my heart
we can be together once more
and share our love
once again, dear
once again can affection we bear
in our heart's deepest core
a hope still whispers in my heart
you'll return to me before my day ends.
