A Horrific Thriller Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

A Horrific Thriller

Your life becomes a horrific thriller
When below you there lives a deranged proprietor,
Removing name tag from doorbell,
At untimely hours, violently knocking
And harassingly ringing your doorbell,
Throwing books at your door front,
Hanging leather bags and notices in front;

A psychopath overly jealous of a retired psychologist
Wants to be called a doctor but, in truth, is a patient,
The laws of this government can only fine
For the insane activities of this woman,
While the rest of the dwellers confine
Themselves and shiver in fear, locking in;

Though this has been going on for years here
I have been put to this grimness for a year,
Such is my horrific thriller experience
Living above a person who has psychosis;

I didn't move because the flat is neat,
I didn't move since Lake Constance is right next,
I didn't move because it is a hassle to shift,
I didn't move since I had already signed the contract;

After being long subjected to grim experience
Now my heart does not stop anymore in fearfulness,
While I don't react much to the nuisance
I merely wish to see the end of this disturbance.
