A small celestial body,
No light of your own,
Yet you shine bright
As a night sky object,
Being an inspiration
To an amorous somebody,
Being a companion
To a solitary somebody,
You the mighty moon
Though plainly mundane
To almost every human,
Are a peaceful delight
For a being with eyesight.
Being an inspiration To an amorous somebody, Being a companion To a solitary somebody, You the mighty moon wonderful imagination. tony
Object! ! Shining! ! ! Delight of the eyes. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A scientifically excellent work. May the great works still be written.
A small celestial body, No light of your own, Yet you shine bright As a night sky object, .....beautifully written about the enlightened body of the moon allegorically about the spiritual human soul; small, it's too small, imperceptible the body of the enlightened soul; unreachable for all as usual; this small celestial body can shine only the whole universe like the moonlight of the dark night; congrats for being selected this as POD...5****
Ah! The poems that the moon inspires! I dare say that the lot of poets are selenophiles! ! ! Good one!
