A House Amidst The Bamboo Trees Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

A House Amidst The Bamboo Trees

Oh! House so fair, with boughs that gently sway
Surrounded by green bamboo leaves
Its song of summer sings through night and day
Attracting passers by far and beyond belief.

The culms that rise, with nodes and hollow ways
A symbol of resilience and strength untold
For though they bend, their branches still display
Perseverance is worth a story told.

The House, like bamboo, stands so tall and proud
A representation of our inner grace
It teaches us to weather every storm and shroud
And rise again with newfound strength in place.

So let us strive to be like bamboo trees
Embrace resilience, and learn to bend and please
And just like them, we shall return to ease
With inner strength and peace that never cease
