A House Of Worship Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A House Of Worship

Rating: 5.0

A house of worship is a venerable place,
The bonds of kinship are relatively close.
Seeds of religious development are sown
Instilling trust and confidence and repose.
They expand into the moral attitudes
That show their compassion for others,
It is within this simple, sacred sanctuary
Where congenial members respect one another.

A house of worship is a place of solace,
It is here that parishioners care and share.
Greetings and smiles flow from pew to pew,
A sense of belonging comes from everywhere.
A spirit of friendly, religious fellowship prevail
For all members of the congregation to pray.
There is no other place in the local community
Where camaraderie like this will ever fade.
