A House To Home Poem by Santanu Nandi Purkayastha

A House To Home

A HOUSE TO HOME

I want to construct, a house to home.
From cement, stone, bricks to emotions concrete.
A mighty home not of building, acre or campus,
But of human relations that binds together.
Members of which would bond that strongly,
As if many body but a single soul dwells.
Joy of success and everybody‘s achievement,
Would reflect the soul's happiness.
Center of the house,
Where my parents to stay.
Blessings of whom,
Would shield the home,
From any adverse calamites exposed.
Two corners of the house, we two brothers to stay,
As pillars to support and for healthy around.
And my sister happily married,
With her family will remain in the first floor.
Encircling the home, greenery around.
With the steps when laid, as if a paradise found.

I want to construct, a house to home
Of human relations and greenery around.
