A Hug Poem by taylor wiebe

A Hug

His hugs embrace me
The tight yet gentle squeeze
I find myself wrapped in your arms,
I lean my head on your shoulder
and the questions seem to go away,
thinking of what this could be
then I realize it cannot
for I am not the only one who desires you heart
we stand holding each other
saying nothing
until the warmth fades away
and I find myself standing in front of you
looking into your deep eyes
with a smile stretched across my face
its cold all around us
but your warmth still lingers in my body
The tingling sensations on the tips of my fingers
the warmth across my chest,
for the brief minutes I had you in my arms
It was like a burden was lifted, a burden I never knew I had
until I am in your arms once more
i will wonder and miss you
