I've often wondered
Looking at you
What goes on in your pretty little head

I've often caught you
Singing to yourself
Why are your songs only for you?

I've often thought to myself:
"What makes her happy? "
The answer must be in your eyes

But I've looked deep into them
Only to find me simply drowning
Deeper and deeper into pools of sparkle

I've sometimes asked myself:
"What can take the smiles away? "
Yet hope never to find out

I ever hope
To enchant you too
Do tell the secret of your peace
