A Legend Of A Remarkable Bard Poem by Sam Edison

A Legend Of A Remarkable Bard

Rating: 4.8

The bright lights of a frozen winter new york night
Shining above my imagination of love and forgivness
Luxury cars and smoke filled bars from a forgotten era
The knowledge that I belong in another time constantly scraping my brain with the rake of devils
Alone in a world of millions but oh they will remember me
Yes they will remember me
Probably right after they dismember me
I await the day they sacrifice me to their ancient idols
Until that day I will stick them where it hurts
Speaking words as sharp as samaurai swords
As they charge me in hords
They believe they have me down but I am reaping the rewards
I am immortal forever the remarkable bard
With my written words time shall never take me away
