A Leisurely Walk Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Leisurely Walk

Rating: 5.0

Stroll down a quiet country road
To find the happiness you seek,
A time to reminisce when you are alone,
And your mental disposition is at a peak.

God seems to be all around you
To send you peace and treasured delight
In the aesthetic beauty that is in view,
Arousing your enthusiasm to a great height.

As Summer bestows its fragrant flowers,
Or the carpet of Autumn colors shortly abode,
A sense of elation and appreciation lingers
As you stroll quitely down the country road.
