A Letter To A Faraway Friend Poem by P.Vijay Kumar

A Letter To A Faraway Friend

Thinking of you in the night,
I write to you again.
For,
Writing is an excuse to be human….
Life appearing meaningless
In its intransigent myths,
Suddenly transforms into an overflowing
River of depth,
When the words bloom.

Illusion is what we create to fight illusion.
But so scintillating are they,
That we are enslaved.
Someone told me last day,
That world is one use and throw piece
Which we think, in vain, will be refilled.

Wish this passion of mine,
Finds you in good spirits,
And that we will meet again,
Somewhere at the junctions
Of this unaccountable hope ways,
Again, to share a dishful of delight
And a heart full of elation,
Fighting like a foe and merging like one soul.

Where are you now?
And where is your floating, dreaming mind?
I can see your smile,
Roaming with the breeze of the moonlight
And sailing to a jubilant, soaring star.

Thinking of you in the night,
I write to you again.
For,
Writing is an excuse to be human…

Enjoy every minute.
And cross every limit!
