A Letter To Humanity Poem by Priyanka Roy

A Letter To Humanity

Oh! humanity have you forgotten the path of my city;
It had ruined itself with furore and pity.

Here only the river has it's own pace
Often perished by human rage,
Only the birds fly with calm
Often interrupted by human harm,
Only the clouds could fall all proud
and fearlessly scream out loud.

Here no one is safe
Even the embryo in the mother's cave
And the rebel of the jungle with his brave.
As the greatest masses of the vibrant town
Has a dense urge to adorn with the crown.

Oh humanity please flourish in my city
With all your ornaments to cease the abrupt absurdity.
