A Letter To My Heart
Dear heart,
kindly beat slowly
i know you are scared of the dart
that will pierce surely.
But do not despair,
or harbor hopelessness
for the mechanic will repair,
and show you true faithfulness.
And if it doesn't,
like the tongue that lies
or show sign it hasn't
i shall clap it like the flies
