I'm sorry my lost love for I have hurt you so
For the heartache and sorrow of letting you go
Would you have waited for me, knowing I may never come back?
I will not be selfish of your freedom, from my presence that I lack.

I'm sorry my bestfriend, I have let you down
We were one of the same and our friendship was bound
Yet I haven't been there for you and still
You love me and miss me with your own free-will.

I fear the future that's unsure and vague
For you are my love now, but how long is this plague?
If your trust in me balances on a thin line of glass
Then am I wrong to think at times that you and I will just pass?

I love you my baby, I will always be there for you
You're the reason I lived and defied all taboo
I will not be perfect, I trust I've taught you understanding
Patience is a virtue and forgiving is forgetting.

To my parents that's not perfect but has been there for me
I'm sorry if I'm not the daughter you both want me to be
I know I've given you disappointment, if not making you proud
I hope you know that I love you though its not said out loud.
