A Life Remembered Poem by Josiah Kalala

A Life Remembered

Different we all are, that's our similarity
Each of us the fruit of our experience
The good, from the good shown, the bad from the bad seen
Take either, the good or the bad, even a little and even more different we would be
We reflect on one life, really we reflect on them all…
Different ingredients that made a different you and a different me
A life well lived is a life full of experience
The experience of love, joy, hurt and the experience of heartache
Take away a little experience or add a little more
A different them, you, me, us…
A life remembered, a celebration of the experience of us to them, you and me

An insightful philosophical piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing.
