A Lifeless Existence, I Have

Rating: 5.0

Shattered glass is all around,
my tongue is tied, my arms are bound.
My life is burning to dust and ashes,
in front of my eyes, my existence flashes.
My whole world is being torn, I don't know what to do.

Hello world I'm turning blue,
tell me exactly what to do!
Don't listen to the strangers, they lie!
Talk to me before I die.
My whole world is being torn, I don't know what to do.

My thoughts and words have gone astray,
my hateful actions are hard to keep at bay.
The monster in my soul is breaking free.
Let it out and leave me be!
My whole world is being torn, I don't know what to do.

My heart is gone, my soul is black,
if I go, I won't be coming back.
Shattered glass is all I've left behind,
results of the disasters in my mind.
My world is torn and there's no fixing it.

Shattered glass is all around,
my tongue is tied, my arms are bound.

I'd make a couple of amendments, but your imagery is flawless. One of my favs.
