A Little Boy Poem by Kelvin Rush

A Little Boy

He riddled and fiddled and messed with my mind
He said I was special one of a kind
I was ravaged and savaged and used like a toy
That's how I was treated as a little boy

I would cry in my bed shaking with fear
I was hurting inside I made that quite clear
But he didn't care he was brutal and cold
I begged him to stop but he would not be told

It went on for years I hid it away
I relive the nightmare every day
Abused and confused and starved of joy
That's how I was treated as a little boy
