A Little Shine A Little Rain Poem by Annah Toboso

A Little Shine A Little Rain

I smile when my baby is born
She cries
I cry when my baby is sick
She dies
I laughed and said I do
He smiled
I cry when divorced
He lied
I shed tears of joy
When he comes home
I steal some fake smiles
When we say goodbye
Am happy when it dawns
am sad when the sun goes down
I make merry because it's December
I frown January has come
I freeze because it's winter
I walk like a king in summer
No matter how hard I try
Good times will always fly
And life would be boring
Without a little bit of raining
So am I just here
Am sad because am happy
And am happy because am sad
