A Little Word Poem by Caleb Gonzales

A Little Word

Rating: 4.3

Faith, is sometimes little more than a word
That may keep you and contain your whole
Put aside along the way
As well as he who has more say
Invisible but there, for sure no doubt
I wonder and dwindle in thoughts that are not stout
A little word with much meaning
A little man with much worth
A God who has treasures untold
And has named every one of them
Different in every way
The same in many others
Faith throughout them all
Has little place
Pride and self indulgence
To conquer all in sight
Where faith has no right
They stay in their delight
Yee of little faith, I am
But forsaken I am not
Changing my path; ever so slightly
To put it back in my view
In the horizons anew
Where faith lasts forever for God lets it reign, along his side; faith is bigger than I thought
