A Lonely Headstone

I took a walk along a river
Hearing nature singing its songs
Coming upon a tiny island
I wadded through the water for it to see
There beneath a big oak tree
I found one lonely headstone
On it these encrypted words I read
"Here lies a man in peace"
I stode there awhile and I did understand
As he could forever listen
to the melodies of the waters flowing by
