A Lonely Hill Poem by Makina Nakamura

A Lonely Hill

Walking on a lonely hill,
standing alone.
I never hoped for someone
to be standing next to me.
Because I don't wanna to be hurted again.
I'm just tired of pain.

Looking at those beautiful horizons,
they make me feel so happy because its all peaceful.
But there is something missing from my heart.
I feel happy but empty.

For this life which stands with no pain,
shall not fill the emptiness.
I stood there in the emptiness.
Wandering in my mind,
looking for something that is not there anymore.

At the bottom of my heart, I knew.
I didn't deserve anything since I can't stand the pain.
The days passed,
the years followed by.
At last,
I left that lonely hill.
