A Lonely Road Poem by Thati pramod sai

A Lonely Road

A lonely road

Everyday I walk on the same road
Weaving through limit less times of burdened load
Every second glares at me
With agony
As I see everyone loosing ones deep connected harmony
Oh no! some shouted
Oh shut! Some whispered
But none cared..immersed
In another world of virtuality
Loosing oneself in reality

Everyday I walk on the same road
Weaving through limitless times of burdened load
Pathetically I look at the fallen leaf
Mournfully a flower gazes at me with disbelief
Far in the corner a dog was seeing
Averse with increased fossil fuels with out bemoaning
Shared future they say
Sustainability is the way
Oh someone was carrying a flag
Everyone was following like a rag
Some one was giving a fiery speech
Few people are busy out of reach

Oh what to say
Everyday I walk on the same road
Weaving through limitless times of burdened load..
Don't be agnostic or pessimistic
Said my self
Holding on to the support of present existence
To be a torch bearer
Shouted as loud as I can
But there was complete silence like in a vacuum
Not that no one there
But none cared
Wounded, started sailing through time
Weaving through limitless times of burdened load
Walking through that lonely road...
