A Long Lost Heart Poem by jessica zavala

A Long Lost Heart

He haunts my thoughts, in waking moments.
Even in dreams he dwells.
A lover from a past oh so long ago.
At times id love to crush him.
At times id want to hold him.
There was so little left to say in the end.
There was no one to blame.
Only time to let it all go.
To say our twisted goodbyes.
So now i say to you my dear it could have been nice,
But fate would not allow.
Hope you find the kind of happiness,
Your heart denied you.....
