A Long Past Poem by Anthony Ominiabohs

A Long Past

Rating: 5.0

Memories frozen in time
Suckling ghosts from the past
I hold at last...
Speeding through space and time
To punish or reward

Let go,
My cackled lips sing
Hurtling shadows to drown sorrows
Voicing a vendettas fury
That rebounds like shock waves

Silence abounds
Seeking with seethed fury
Punishment and no reward
Stealing through me
Like a merciless thief

Had i but a chance
To relive my days,
To ask for a debt to pay
Would i find rest?
