A Lost Friend

I had a friend long ago
we used to talk a lot
no internet no phone was required
nor was marijuana needed to bond
we would sing
we would dance
but with time
i have become afraid of her
somehow cant imagine to be with her alone
she will ask stiffling questions
she will be all truth and no lies
she will unearth the real me
oh how afraid i am of myself
