A Love Affair Poem by erica wood

Finding you was the happiest time of my life,
I fell so deep in love and thoght that i would someday be your wife.
I lived for all your kisses and every touch,
Thinking about all we have and all we could do just a little too much.
I became wrapped up in all we had,
Until I found out something that really made me mad.
Nothing could prepare me for what I found,
You already have a wife and been sneaking around.
I went home heartbroken and started to cry,
Iv'e been so good to you and wonder why you felt you had to lie.
I tried to stay away but I started missing you,
I know this situation is wrong so what am I to do?
I went to him and asked him why,
He said he was getting ready to tell his wife goodbye.
Said things hadn't been working for awhile now,
Loving and being true to only me was his vow.
Having a wife got me questioning how that could be,
You said the truth i would soon come to see.
I hope so cause at some point I fell so deep,
But no matter what happens all of our memories I'll forever keep.
Awhile later him and his wife had split apart,
Now him and I can have a brand new start.
After awhile the truth and all the love he has I did see,
He looked deep in my eyes and asked 'will you marry me? '.
I told him yes with all the love in my heart,
Because I know that our love is stong so we'll never part.
To you I forever dedicate my whole life,
And forever more I'll be your perfect wife.
