Found Love Poem by erica wood

Found Love

When I went out I saw this really hot guy,
Wanting to walk up to him but way to shy.
Right then and there he caught my eye,
This feeling got me on a strange new high.
Everyone telling me to stay away,
Saying we’re different as night and day.
I tell them to leave us alone,
There are just some decisions I need to make on my own.
So I’m gonna do just what I want to do,
If you don’t like my choice and can’t be happy for me than screw you.
This is whom I want to be with,
I won’t apologize and plead the fifth.
He is someone I really need,
It’s like being locked up for a long time and finally freed.
He has control of every part of me,
Just how lucky I am for finding him you’ll one day see.
I am so blissfully happy,
Don’t be worried about me, I feel very lucky.
You should see just how wonderfully he treats me,
So open your eyes and look at us before giving me the third degree.
He’s more than just someone I love; he’s my best friend,
I just know that what we have will never end.
Sure we have our ups and downs,
But no matter what I’m going through he’s always around.
Since this is the first time I fell in love, everyone’s trying to give me advice,
But don’t worry to me he’s been nothing but nice.
I know he respects me when it comes to my virtues,
Anything I offer him he doesn’t abuse.
I know I am deeply appreciated,
He is like no one I ever dated.
Many women think he’s so fine,
Which makes me proud to say he’s all mine.
