for thee I have given it all
and obeyed the order of my heart
broke down each wall
and tore myself apart
blood I would give
and flesh to thee, i would impart
Yet I pray, that thou would forgive
me for I must now depart
love, my love, is a thing for two
and unreturned it cannot be
and though it may be true
your love, sweet love, is not for me
