A Love That Never Dies - Poem by Mary Collins
The first time I saw you I knew
of a love from a long time ago. We had a love that was never fulfilled.
To be together again, deep in our souls we willed. It breaks my heart that your love is not for me;
How can I know what I know, and you can not see.
Perhaps it is enough for us just to be friends,
Until in another life time we meet again. As the days and years go by,
I know in my heart, I have a love that will never die, Only God can tell me if in this time
We will have a love that's yours and mine. Look deep in your soul when love turns and walked away.
For within your heart a love that it
Meant to be will always stay.
