A Love Unclaimed Poem by Asim Baadshah

A Love Unclaimed

Neither falling in love nor in love with her,
A stranger to longing, yet lost in a blur.
Her voice, a whisper the wind carries near,
But my heart stands still, untouched by fear.

She walks through my thoughts like a fleeting sigh,
A shadow of warmth beneath the sky.
Yet love's embrace, I do not crave,
Nor do I seek the dreams it gave.

Her eyes hold stories I'll never read,
A garden of roses I never did need.
A world of wonder, a touch so true,
Yet I remain where silence grew.

Neither falling in love nor turning away,
Just drifting in echoes of night and day.
A nameless feeling, neither wrong nor right,
Like a fading star lost in the night.
