A Lovely Woman Poem by Hamsa Elfarash

A Lovely Woman

When I first opened my eyes,
It was really the best view,
Three letters were all I knew,
Yes mum, it was you.

You are my beautiful butterfly,
My bridge which I fall on,
And the only one who gets me high,
The only one I'm relieved upon.

Don't get nervous from me,
Whatever the mistake I did was,
You're the leaves from my tree,
You're the sweet smell of grass.

Mum.. Words have failed to tell my love,
You're the best, that's the true,
Making you mad, is what I'm afraid of,
I'll never make you,
I'll never do.
