A Mental Translator. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

A Mental Translator.

If there's a desire,
you need to hold your fire.
If there's a pleasant sight,
you need to think about what's right.

If there is a social code,
you need to decode
laws and older structures.
We aren't barbarian creatures.

If there's a model of qualities,
you need to read external realities.
Your life is a crazy line,
where you don't try to decline.
