A Message In A Dream

It was a reality not of my own, a memory of someone else's past. Shared with me in silent words that one day needed to be heard. He was there you know, listening to you as you stood to the side of where he slept. Asking why? Bestowing upon yourself guilt by questioning your own life. To why it is you should go on continuing your own life while denied a life without his. A mind so full with emotions, trying to figure out why it had to be but the reason is to why you will one day see. You will understand it all in time but until then please just believe that he's OK. That he found that peace you once talked about. That the day he parted had to be, that there wasn't any other way. The other night as you laid your head down to sleep, he watched you as you began to cry thinking of all the memories you had shared. That comfort you soon felt was the warmth of his wings covering over you like a hug so you could rest knowing of his love. He watches you everyday and he knows you miss him, wishing he was there. Thoughts running rampant of all the things you wanted to say. He watched as you tried to each your lunch, laughing as a joke was being told seeing how It Reminded you of him. You tried to hold back your tears, the show of a simple smirk as the people around you talked. You couldn't even drink your tea, silently begging for a chance to have him home. Please remember of all the joys, the conversations that mixed with laughter. To live, laugh and love. Enjoy every moment, and be who your suppose to be. You must walk along your path & live out life just like he had to live out his. He knows of your pain, but wants you to live and be free. You'll never be alone, he's with you & watching you, just like any other day. Never hang your head down. Wear your smile with pride & when the day comes. The day your job on earth is done. He'll be waiting for you as you journey home, to be with him with open arms. ~
He'd give up his wings you know, just so your heart could become whole.
