A sturdy tree once, growing well,
Was hit by tornado;
With roots intact and broken trunk,
Branch-less, alive, it stayed.
When Nature healed its broken back,
It sprouted once again;
No handicap precludes living,
If grace of God can bless!
The Maker makes all things with love,
And perfection immense;
Creator loves His creatures all,
However big or small.
Our faith 'midst strife must stronger grow,
As God does not forsake;
To Him all things are possible;
Just ask with faith - 'tis done.
God gives us strife and problems huge,
Yet, does not abandon;
When soulless trees are cared by Him,
Won't He take care of you?
God can renew our lease of life,
When odds are pretty high;
Hold on to Him, the Life-Giver
Who made you, earth and sky.
