A Mirage Poem by Tony Adah

A Mirage

The illusion is that government
Will create avenues for Mannas
To fall on our dinning tables
End creeping wars and even tame disasters
We will walk on this road to where a pool of water is waiting
Until we will find that the water has grown
Some wings and flown into the the thin air.
