A blend of history we love to see
As we glance back into the past
Old photographs from long ago
Time sure does go by fast

Parades reflect both then and now
Brings folks together in fun
Old cars kept just like yesterday
We’re amazed that they still run

No matter whether summer or fall
So many things can we see
All linked together in a parade
To entertain so delightfully

Kids have such a fantastic time
Some dressed up for a ride
Down the road past the courthouse
In a float that just seems to glide

When people are brought together
Many exciting things we will find
As we blend it all into a parade
For a wonderful mixture of time!
