Sometimes, it lasts in love,
But sometimes it just hurts instead;
And now I'm trying to sort it all out
But my heart always wins over my head.

And I don't know where it all went wrong
Don't know where we messed up
How did these stupid circumstances
Make us lose hope and give up.

And now we're just two strangers,
You're just a guy I knew before;
I try hard to be brave and strong, but
Deep within, I can't take it anymore.

I still find it too hard to believe
That you could change like hell,
And I just cannot accept it that
Things between us are not gonna be well.

Yet every time I look at you
All I can think about is the past;
And cherish every little memory
Even though it did not last.

You'll never realize how much
I regret losing you;
And I just don't know why and how
I'm still clinging on to you.

So every time I look at the sky
and wish upon a star,
I'll hope that you come back, just once
To erase all the pain and scars.

And all I'll ever wish for
Is a moment more with you;
One last chance to hold you near,
And tell you I love you.

One moment to lie beneath starry skies,
And make it all come true;
All I'll ever wish for
Is a moment more with you.
