A Mothers Pain Poem by kay j sparkz

A Mothers Pain

Cloudz are dark,
Sunlight can’t get through,
Rains pouring heavily,
Thumping like a drum on the roof,
Seemz like mothers crying,
Wondering what happened to her creation,
Wat was once her jubilation,
Is now the cause of her humiliation

Once so innocent,
She guarded fiercely,
Gave everything she could,
To keep it pure,
Free of soothe,
Like an architect,
She planned each step,
Laying brick by brick,
Stone by stone,
Wishing to build a kingdom,
Greater then Rome.

But her efforts now seem in vain,
She can no longer bear the pain,
The time of smiling face and baby talk,
Is now replaced with ignorance and a macho walk,
What she once held so dear by her side,
Is now pushing her by the way side,
Gone are her hopez n dreamz,
Replaced by a plea,
Like a shipwreck survivor,
Hanging to a piece of drift wood in open sea,

What was once a blissful walk,
Through a garden of roses,
Is know a jagged path,
At every step,
The edges cut through her flesh,
But else can a mother do,
She can’t walk away,
B’coz,
What was once so innocent,
Has now gone a stray.
