A Mournful Morning Poem by Hades Pandemonium

A Mournful Morning

Rating: 5.0

One mournful morning I awoke,
With a tear below my eye,
Just outside, the rain was pouring
To lament the last day of my life.

I know I have to leave this world
Unvoluntarily,
To abandon everything I have,
My friends and family.

I hope memories will warm their hearts,
Joyful moments we once had
And forgive me for those times,
That we considered bad.

Where I'll end up, I don't know,
But we'll meet one day,
Reunite our souls once more
And together we will stay.

Nice, it's always hard when someone dear leaves you, it brings tears and pain, lovely gothic melancholic aura in the poem, indeed a poem written from the heart, good work
