A Much Better World Poem by Francis Duggan

A Much Better World

Rating: 2.5

If people could learn to live in harmony
What a beautiful World to live in 'twould be
Where people would not go to war over culture, religion and land
And against violence and terrorism united would make a stand
Where there is no such a street as a poverty street
And where evryone enjoy enough for to eat
And no refugee camps and no refugee
And of the fear of oppression everyone living free
A world where none is homeless and none have to live rough
And where everyone's best is seen as good enough
And where everyone is seen as equal in every way
A much better World than the World of today
This is the sort of World I long for instead
Of the World where mothers do grieve at the graves of their dead.
