Softly and gently dust falls down around you,
Illuminated by the harsh stage lights,
The bright dusk glitter like specks of gold.

Softly
Falling
Drifting

The perfect set up, the blackened night,
Behind us, a dark auditorium
Around you, glittering specks of gold.

Black backdrops
An illuminated face
Gold specks

Sinking
Falling, all around

The most surreal surroundings
Around you
Around us
It’s quiet, nobody moves
yet still we look each other in the eye

This is the way I saw you,
in the most surreal way
the quiet message conveyed between our eyes

it may be that I like, or I am fond of
Im not sure, but know this
I will be there for you...
