A New Cause Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A New Cause

How people change
Pretty, for some coins
Some persons forget loyalty
Compromising their self-esteem
Dignity, integrity and patriotism
Acting, when for appeasement-sake.

Apologies thereafter, of any kind
Can't repair the damage so caused
Hurting, sentiments of fellow-citizen
In any capacity, I can't craft corrections
But, warn you! Being, global-watch-dog.

A time for fresh innings, making right move
And a lot many candid moments-
Why do you play negative, sharing so hot?

Undue pain is shedding, making it easy & light
Moving so forward living so positive, so happy
Extraordinary experience, bitter-sweet feelings
Fine sense of humour, discovering a new cause.
