A New Day

And darkness ends
All fresh and new
Each day begins
Beauty awakens
At the break of dawn
The sun shines down
Birds sing their song
Dewdrops glisten
In the early light
The soft breeze blows
The birds take flight
The warmth and light
Embrace all things
Oh such a gift
Each new day brings
