A New Day Born Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A New Day Born

The sky is a whisper, soft and grey.
A single star, then fades away.

The moon, a pale and gentle eye,
Watch the silent world go by.

A bird stirs, a tiny, sleepy sound.
Then more awake, all around.

The grass is kissed by morning dew.
The air is fresh, and clean, and new.

The sun peeks, a shy, soft gleam.
Waking up a sleepy dream.

The shadows stretch, then start to fade.
A brand new day, already made.
