A New Leaf Poem by Caitlin Wood

A New Leaf

Wonder to me,
Is the worst place to be.
Situations get complex,
Youre afraid of whats next.
Starting out fresh and brand new,
Stepping in another shoe.
Having all sorts of doubt,
Trying to figure out how you’ll turn out.
Turning over a new leaf,
You sometimes want to leave.
Hold your head high,
Don’t you dare sigh.
One foot in front of the other,
Slowly go farther.
Don’t show you fear,
If you need me Im right here!
